Ever since my sister pulled the bug eyed plushie from her McDonald's Happy Meal, I've laughed at and loved his unique form of weirdness. I've drawn Jack in various mediums and he pops up all over my gallery, he's even on my icon, so why not animate him in flash?

Actually, I did this in 2D Animation. My professor was doing a flash demo while we experimented with the tablets (which turned out not to work because the drivers had been uninstalled) and we had to follow his example in Flash with images of our characters for the animated short assignment. Jack is starring in his own animated short under a new name: "Captain Jouet and the Hunt for the Guinean Bounty". ("Jouet" means "toy" in french, but I've been shortening his name to "Jo", though I accidentally call him Jack at times.) The story is about his hunt for treasure in a little boys room.

I roughly doodled this image of Jack with a mouse in class, and I thought he looked cute so I made him do a little wave.
